De Beque Fire Protection District:  Residential Structure Fire

July 21, 2025

De Beque, Colo. – On July 20th at 7:38 PM De Beque Fire District was dispatched due to a report of a structure fire at the 400 block of Stewart Avenue in the town of De Beque.

 Engine 81 responded with an enroute time of 7:41PM, arriving on scene at 7:45 PM to find a working structure fire with full involvement of the back side of the residence.

Upon arrival, Engine 81 reported that the structure had been evacuated.

Engine 81 performed initial attack and firefighting operations with the assistance of Grand Valley Fire Protection District, Plateau Valley Fire District, and Palisade Fire Department.

No serious injuries were reported at the time of the incident.

Fire origin and cause are currently under investigation with the assistance of Colorado River Fire and Rescue, and State of Colorado Fire Investigations.
